Dear Millie and Michelle,
I really didn’t know Arleigh so well as we were quite different in age, but as you know his mother Stella surely was a dear friend of mine. I’m not sure if Stella ever told you where she got the name for her little son. Arleigh Affleck used to be in the same ministry as I am. When Stella was a girl she always was happy when Arleigh and his co worker would visit in their home near Quill Lake. I knew Arleigh very well when he lived down in Rocanville for many years after he wasn’t able for this work. I did see your Arleigh once in the Un Hos in Saskatoon some years ago. He put up quite a valiant fight with that illness. Best wishes as you continue to keep the home fires burning. Morris
