Sad to see Dan go specially for his family. I enjoyed Dan at JD. I always called him Danylo Dan in Ukrainian, he would laugh and replied in Ukrainian I like kapusta soup too. He was a great parts man at JD,would go the extra mile to find your part. He will be sadly missed all around

Springer and I played hockey together and against each other. He could skate like the wind! Springer was a great sportsman, never taking himself too seriously and adding some comic relief. He had a contagious laugh! Renaming people was a talent, he was responsible for “ Wally the Whipper”. Some good people leave us too early but they leave us enriched. - Lorne Tarasoff-

This is such sad news. I didn't know Springer well but heard alot of good things about him. His brother Mike was a classmate of mine.
I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to Tera and family. Another nice young gentleman gone too soon.

Hey Dan , rest in peace. I was thinking I wasn't hearing right when Jerome called me about Springers passing . I use to see Dan with the other " Cartwright boys " , Jerome , Spinner and Alphonso and always enjoyed talking with Dan over a cold beverage during my Wynyard / Wishart visits . Take care Danny's family .Our condolences to you all .

I knew Springer from Wishart School. He was a year older than me, but that didn't matter because he was such a nice guy and he associated with everyone. He was very nice to me, as not all the boys in that Era weren't.
He was in all kinds of sports and showed up for the many local parties. He came to my wedding in July 1976 in Wishart. I married Dale Keyowski, but later divorced and moved away from that area. There were always lots of GREAT stories about Springer and I know he'll be deeply missed . Condolences to all of his family and friends.

What joy it was to have known Springer. We will never forget his smile, kind and joyous spirit and how he made days a little brighter just by popping in to share his latest creation. His dill pickles were the best (his recipe is treasured) and his latest homemade product, Smoked Salsa, was delicious.
Caring thoughts are with you, Tera and your family, as we share this sympathy.

Wanting to express My Heartfelt Deepest Condolences to all in the Shewchuk family at this time of sorrow !
Springer was a great friend and awesome school mate back when we attended Wishart School...
He even had me stay over at the Shewchuk farm as teenagers to help catch chickens on few occasions during shipping days which I was happy in being a helping hand with.
He will be forever missed ...and may you Rest In Peace Springer !
