My regards to Diane and family on the passing of Conrad. First met Conrad when we moved to Wynyard, while managing the grain elevator. He delivered every load of grain with a smile and a story, we found ways on who could tell the best story. Conrad made every effort to convince me that there was no dockage in his grain delivered, so one delivery I never took a sample, he asked how come you didn't take a sample of the load. I told Conrad, we'll you said you had no dockage in your grain. The look on his face was priceless, he said this load is the boys grain not mine. Well the boys have no dockage in this load, I'll just take more when you deliver your grain. I think he laughed all the way back to the farm for the next load. Conrad and I also worked together on a project at Fort McMurray and that was just a blast. We worked on a right of way access with two dozers, that Cat D5H didn't miss a beat. We had a lot of fun that winter. Sure going to miss meeting Conrad on the road somewhere for that five minute chat. Conrad was very proud of his family and watched as they worked hard and was there for every step of the way. I'm sure the good Lord will have Conrad visit with family members for a little while, he will take Conrad to a special area, that needs to be cleared, I'm sure he will have a brand new Cat dozer to clear the way, probably have Gary Morrow waiting to seed a crop, those two will find a way to get r done. Till we meet again.
