Conrad passed away peacefully at Wynyard Hospital with his wife by his side on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the age of 68. Conrad was born on May 3, 1948 to John and Katherine (Bzdel) Bergquist in the Product District. For several years, Conrad worked in lumber camps in Prince George, B.C. Later he purchased a quarter of land in the Edgebrook district. On February 17, 1978 Conrad married Dianne Morrow. They have 5 children: Bonnie born Aug., 5, 1978; Kevin born Feb. 12, 1980; Jim born Aug. 1, 1982; Lisa born Sept. 7, 1983; Laura born Dec. 12, 1984 - June 29, 2002. Conrad loved farming and also enjoyed CAT work. He farmed during the spring, summer and fall and worked away in the winters for Kledo construction. If you knew Conrad, you know how he loved to tease. Conrad was predeceased by his daughter Laura (June 29, 2002); his mother Katherine (Bzdel) Bergquist (May 5, 1987); his father John Bergquist (Oct. 28, 1986); brothers Benny (1958), Raymond (1959), Donnie (2000), John (2004); sisters Shirley (1997), and Elizabeth (Isabel) (2007). Conrad leaves to mourn his wife Dianne; children: Bonnie (Darryl) Hague and their children Chloe, Lexis and Ty; Kevin (Jody) and their children Michael and Emma; Jim (Crystal) and their children Makayla, Austin and Paige; Lisa (Mike) Bettin and son Brayden. Conrad also leaves to mourn his brothers, sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
