My heart goes out to Joan, Carine and Jane. I remember Richard as a wise and funny guy that would always come to visit Dad. It was so nice to see him and I remember as as child alway driving down to Saskatchewan and visiting them and playing with Carine and Jane was just a baby. Such good memories that will forever stay with me ❤️🙂

Rick stopped to visit and check how I was doing and how the manual lawn mower was working during the summer months year after year. His favorite retriever was always with him. Those visits will be missed.

I'll always remember Rick's plentiful vegetable gardens that he planted at the farm. I recall how happy he was to give extra vegetables away in August and September yearly. Lots of friends, relatives, and neighbours appreciated his tomatoes, beets, carrots, etc. over the years. No doubt that he will make time to plant up above.

I appreciated Rick's plowing the snow between the trees on the hill through out the years . He didn't mind plowing so I could shovel between the sheds. His helpful plowing will be missed. Deb

Our deepest sympathy on Richard's passing. He was a very caring and compassionate person. It was only a few months ago that Richard called to ask how harvest was going and how everyone in the family was doing. He was always ready for a visit and to share some laughs. Rest in Peace!

Our sincere thoughts and prayers for the repose of Richard’s spirit and comfort and peace for Joan and family at this time of Richard’s early passing. As others, I also recall some good memories of my association with Richard during school days at Tuffnell and Foam Lake. There were times when some of us guys would get together with Richard on the turkey ranch to practise on the rifle range. Richard would also give us a ride in his shinny, new, red , sporty Ford. Indeed, some fond memories! May he Rest In Peace and may God console and comfort the family at their loss.
