My deepest condolences to all of Johns family. I had the privilege.of working with John when he was a manager at the Wadena Co-op farm supply. I remember John as a hard working man at the Co-op and on their farm. I remember how that he would drive his 750 Suzuki to work and sometimes home for lunch at noon or to mom and dads S&V drive in. Rest in peace John you will be sadly missed

I am sad I will be unable to attend John's memorial. John and his family were so important for me as an adolescent. One could not have had a better friend. We went with each other for our driver's licenses. We would ride to High School on his motorcycle. John, Phyllis, Arlene, Bill Townend and I spent many weekend hours together. Rita Allen Dennis and Peter had a few nights of poor sleep because as teenagers we were sometimes reluctant to go to bed. And, their house was too small for our presence not to be noted! Yet no one ever complained. Joe and Annie were my second parents during my latter High School years as my parents were snowbirds. I spent many hours at their home. I remember many winter evenings filled with laughter at our house playing Hearts with John and friends. He was a great man and is missed.

My condolences to Donna and family. John was a good friend and co-worker. We spent more than a few hours working together at Sask. Wheat Pool and always had fun together at work or beer bottle bowling after a long spring hauling NH-3. Rest in peace Dr. John

To Donna and family. We are so sorry to hear of John's passing. I had the privilege of working with John at Saskatchewan Wheat for many years. John was a hard working, nose to the grindstone type of guy, always doing a great job, whatever he was working at. We will always miss his infectious smile and laugh. Always kind hearted and down to earth, may he rest in peace.
