I was extremely saddened to hear of Lynn’s passing. To say I knew her for my whole life was almost an understatement! She was born two days after I was in the Spalding Hospital. We went to school together, we played together, we told each other secrets…until somehow along the way we lost track of each other. I think our last visit was at the 10-year reunion of my graduating class, when Lynn and Jim so kindly invited all of us to their home for the kind of visit and reminiscing that wouldn’t have been possible in a crowd.
I have stared at the recent photo of Lynn, and I am delighted to say that she looks happy! It seems she had a wonderful life, and she will be missed by everyone. I think of her with a joyful smile on her face and I wish I could post photos of her from grade 2, where she is wearing the biggest smile and had a pony tail on top of her head...my favourite way to remember Lynn!
The website is apparently having difficulties right now, but I will post a few photos from our school days at a later date.
