Marion was a very special neighbor of ours when they lived on their grain farm. She always had time for a visit, and must have had an endless supply of chocolate chip cookies, that were loaded with chocolate chips. The kids always mentioned that, a subtle hint to their mother that she put more chocolate chips in the cookies than I did. Then when the moved to the Oberg yard, they then had the merry go round that attracted the kids, as well as the cookies. I would often pick her up on the way to Ladies Aid meeting, and after the meeting we would sit out in the car when I dropped her off to solve all the worlds issue. She was an amazing women neighbor, friend, mother and according to daughter-in-law Cathy, she was the best mother-in-law a girl could have. She was an amazing lady and will be missed.
