Candace was a dear friend, we talked daily for the last 3 years, I keep going to pick up the phone to call her and forget she is not here. I will miss you every day. We never got to say goodbye, but you know my heart is with you as you are now free of pain and trauma. I love you my dear friend and will miss our talks about anything and everything always ending in laughter.

Candace's good nature was infectious. She was able to find the humor in any situation, but was protective of those she loved. It was obvious that her kids were the light of her life. Although we drifted apart in the last few years of her life, I thought of Candace often. My hope for her family is that, over time, the pain of her loss lessens and the good memories of her make them smile. Sincerely, Mary Ellen Walker
