I have many great memories of
Ron, whether we were on hunting trips or playing hockey with the Flyers we always had a great time. He was a good friend to me and Jean and our family. May you rest in peace Ron. Condolences to the Chaykoski and Rokochy families.

Ron, or Uncle Ron as he was known to our son Thordie, was a very special friend for 40+ years. Ron and Alan packed up Al’s Jeep and the best camping dog ever, Sarah, and off they went “somewhere west” for summer get aways. Ron would sit patiently with his feet in the river, cold ones waiting for Al to return from kayaking . Summer weekends were spent with the gang at Fishing Lake sailing, late nites in the sauna, dinners which often included Ron’s Mom Katie’s perogies, trips to the El Kuroki bar and of course the “Queens Highway Tours”.
We were so happy Ron was awake and responsive as we reminisced about the shenanigans of the old days during our last visit in late October. It was very hard to say goodbye but we are comforted knowing Ron has reunited with his buddies Bill Klebeck and Wendell Kakish and they are on tour with good tunes, good brews and good times.
All the very best to Metro, Shelley and the Chaykoski family.
Sincerely,
Alan and Barbi Petersen
