I am so very sorry to see Rose's obituary tonight. She was the last surviving member of my mother's close friend group, and I thought the world of her. I first met her in my teens playing the organ in the small Anglican church at Dafoe, ministered to by Deaconess Morewood at that time. I thought that Rose was one of the most beautiful women I'd ever seen. I later found out, when home visiting Mom and enjoying tea and chats with her wonderful church friends, that Rose's inner beauty was even greater. She was such a kind, gentle, unassuming soul who appreciated every blessing. I'm so glad I got to visit Rose when in Wynyard briefly in late 2023. I will always remember her with love.
