Hi Lynn, just learned of Garfield's passing. Don't know how we missed this announcement in PPOC-SK newsletter. So sorry to learn this news. We have very fond memories of sharing time with both of you at PPOC events. Garfield was such a talented photographer, we always admired his images of the wildlife, and especially the patience that it takes to capture these. - Joanna I think for many years members were intimidated from entering the Wildlife category in print competitions because they knew they had to come up to Garfield's standard. Such a gentle, easy to get along with kind of guy, he will be missed. - Larry

I was so saddened to read of Garfield's passing. He was such a kind and sincere manand a talented photographer. My husband, Bob Rogers, and I attended many D.U. dinners in Wadena and I have 2 of Garfield's photos hanging in my living room. One of my memories of Garfield is when he came out to Jack Evan's old farm place, south of where Jack and Marie lived, to fix an electrical connection for us. We were camped in this property and would be there for 2 weeks (hunting season). When we went to set up camp there was no power at the power pole. Jack phoned Garfield and he came out right away and fixed it up for us. Once again I.m so sorry for your loss. Pat Rogers Saskatoon
