Dear Gislason family, We are saddened to hear of the loss of your loved one. My very first thought is of the beautiful Icelandic sweater in my closet. Yolanda knit a hooded pattern for me in 1975 that I still wear and will treasure forever now. I remember a kind, caring and gentle lady. Hard to believe so many yrs have passed but there are memories you can’t erase. She was no doubt a wonderful person to everyone. I lite a candle for her and prayed for peace in all of your hearts. We care, Martha & Tom
We wish to express our deepest condolences to my uncle Larry on the loss of his beloved Yolanda and to her children Loaldine, Larry, Chris and Aldis as well her grandchildren and great grandchildren. I have many fond memories of the time I spent as a youth at both the farm and the cabin. Yolanda was a talented seamstress and knitter who kindly made beautiful sweaters for our children which are still being used by our grandchildren. She will be missed.
Expressing deep sorrow and loss of my beloved and dearest mother. I was fortunate enough to have spent time with her over the last several years while she was in the nursing home and was with her til near the end of her life. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and those who were fortunate enough to know her. Rest in peace mom!
We wanted to share our condolences with Yolanda’s family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3,4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.
