Memorial Service 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2017 The Chapel of Narfason's 410 Royal Street Foam Lake, Saskatchewan Gerald Robert Karapita It is with sadden hearts that we announce the passing of a wonderful father, brother, uncle & friend on October 22, 2017 at the age of 69 years. Gerald was predeceased by his parents, his father, Peter Karapita, December 1986 and his mother, Margaret Karapita. January 2011, his sister, Alice Hood January 2013, and his brother in laws: George Hopko, Frank Majcher, Mike Hood, & Walter Pearson. He will be loved, remembered and cherished forever by daughter, Renee (Rae), his Grandson’s Isaieh & Jos from Portland, Oregon, and his son, Tyrone, from Richmond, BC. His sister & best friend, Adele Pearson, brothers, Walter & Edwin (Joan), his step sisters, Elizabeth Hopko, Hazel Majcher, and his nieces & nephews. Gerald started his a successful career working for Ipsco in Regina, and then moved on to Brooks, AB with the same company. He then worked for PanCanadian Petroleum until retirement. Later be became an entrepreneur and created a profitable business with GRK Consulting, Inc. In 2010 Gerald moved from Brooks, AB to Barriere, BC, and then back to Foam Lake, Saskastchewan in 2015.
