We will miss this one of a kind special made woman... we have been blessed to have had Phyllis in our company for many years. We have shared many stories and laughs and tears together over the time we were able to be in her presence. We knew everything about her and her life, and her family and friends lives. We knew where her next stop would be and which dance she would attend, also what she was going to wear and the jewelry to match. We always made sure she had her coffee ready at her seat. She was not just a client she was a very dear friend to all of us girls. We became family with her. She was one of our favourite faces to great us every Friday, and now our fridays will no longer be the same. We cherish every moment spent with her... we miss and love you dearly our Fabulous Fiddling Phyllis... till we meet again 💕 👼

Phyllis is an example to us all - to grab onto fun times in life and live it with the fullest enjoyment. Phyllis was a wonderful coworker at the Hospital and a true friend. I will miss Phyllis- her smile, her youthful self and attitude, her genuine caring nature.

Dear family members,
I remember Phyllis very fondly with her beautiful smile and loving character. I will cherish the memory of Phyllis dancing with me in my living room on Ellesmere, Betty and Sandra watching on, and Len playing the guitar. I really enjoyed her youthful spirit and creative flair in everything she did. Phyllis was a woman who was able to relate to everyone, and was loved by those knew her.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Phylises passing..She was such an active person...a model in how to age without even thinking about your age.A lifelong music lover, musician, singer will be really missed as we chatted music and life many many times. Our families knew each other since before I was born and I have most fond memories of her and will share an event we attended......One time I was in Winnipeg and her and another lady friend came to Wpg to attend a Zemovay(Winter Ukr Polka Fest). It was a two day extravaganza with 4 ballrooms, with the band changing in each ballroom once per hour. She met so many of the people that she had bought their records... Bunny(from Mickey and Bunny fame), Bill and Mary Woloshyn(Interlake Polka Kings), Yogi Klos(D-Drifters) just to name a few.. Other than to grab a bite or use the washroom, I don't think she ever got off the dance floor!!!Come Sunday she said she was ready for another day of dancing but the event ...sadly had ended.. She seemed so full of energy, pep and gusto...this after 2 full days of dancing!!!
To the family... My deepest sympathies. Vichnaya Pamiat!!.Don Bilinski of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
