William Shipman was many titles to many people. To me, he was my grandpa, a man who could seriously rock a pair suspender and serenade you with an impressive memory catalogue of songs. There are no words that can express the loss we all feel. However, we are so lucky to have spent all these years with him and having all our wonderful memories from these experience; his chuckle, his scratchy stubble when you got a kiss, listening to his superb storytelling, the twinkle in his eye when he was being silly, the always lingering smell of wheat on him even in the winter. I could write volumes about my grandpa and how much he meant to me. He was a great man, an excellent, loving grandfather and many will miss him.
