I have known Darroll Wallin since I met him at Cliff Jones funeral many years ago at Wadena (and I think at Cliff and Elaine's 50th wedding anniversary too). We had a most animated conversation about the Canadian Wheat Board at that time too. I remained in contact with Darroll and came to know Charmaine as well in the intervening period. Darroll had a unique and fierce loyalty to his family. He was most supportive of his family, a conspicuous character of his life. Darroll and I were contemporaries (born within 9 months of each other (he was slightly younger). He was blessed with great wisdom and vision. As a person of his age cohort from Humboldt, I readily applaud Darroll's energy, great agriculture instincts, and love of his family. Henry R Kloppenburg CM QC

To Lynn, Sheldon, Tammy and all family members, It is hard to believe that Darroll is no more with us. He was so full of life! This brings my sincere condolences to you all. I will truly miss the Jovial visits Darroll and I always had whenever I returned to visit my home count.ry. I always stuck up for Green just to get him going! Darroll always had time for everyone. I called him several times from Viêt Nam just to see how farming was going and he always thanked me for the call. Darroll and family have rented our family farm for many years and we could always say that he was more than fair. All the best as you keep the wheels of progress rolling.
