So saddened to hear of Allan's passing. I had the great honour and pleasure of knowing Allan and acting as legal counsel for him for many years. I share the sentiments expressed by others that he was a warm, genuine and generous person - a man of great character and integrity. My thoughts and prayers to all the family.

Allan was a loyal and trusted friend and one of the most decent human beings we have known! His abilities, hard work, honesty ,good humour and positive approach to life made him a success in the business world and in every other aspect of his life! We will all be the poorer without Allan in our lives but that much the richer for having known him! Our sympathy and heartfelt thoughts are with Annchen and the Cropper family today and for all the days ahead! Sincerely, Lorne and Arlene

On behalf of everyone at Bourgault Industries Ltd., I would like to extend my condolences to Allan’s wife Annchen Bodenstab and to both Allan’s and Annchen’s families. Allan was a visionary entrepreneur who built and passed on a highly successful business in small town Saskatchewan during a time when many Saskatchewan towns were withering away. In having gotten to know Allan, by doing business with him for many years, I found that he was a man of unquestionable integrity who was consistently calm, cool and logical regardless of the situation. Because of his vision, passion for his business and sincere concern for his employees and customers, Allan built and operated a thriving enterprise that served his family, his employees, his customers and his community extremely well. His passing is a sad event but his legacy lives on.

My condolences to the family and friends of Allan. I knew him slightly through my Father Jack Sirett, who as Western Regional Manager of Ford Tractor was very supportive of Allen getting his own dealership up and running in Naicam. Dad often talked about Allan and his Mary living in the back of the garage he had bought in their early days, with one or two small children. Dad was very proud of Allan’s accomplishments in business. I sometimes felt like he was an absentee brother, he was spoken of so often and with such affection in our home. I was also impressed by his loyalty to my Father and Mother when for many years after Dad’s retirement he kept in touch with them by phone and visits, and would send a floral tributes to their home, especially after Dad died. Thank you, Allan, for being even a small part of our world.

With a deep expression of condolence to Allan's family,we remain as friends of Allan, This comes from Marlene(Frey) Kirychuk and Helmer.
