Obituary
Funeral Service 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2018 Foam Lake Community Hall Foam Lake, Sk Larry was one of a kind, he was a true family man; family always came first for him. He was a workaholic, it didn’t matter if he was supposed to be relaxing if he thought of something that could or should be fixed, he was up doing it. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t do, be it sewing, carpentry, mechanical, cooking, beading, and other crafts. Larry was the type of person if you needed something fixed, he would fix it for you, whether you could pay him or not. He was a people person, it didn’t matter the color of your skin, in Larry’s eyes everyone was equal. Larry had one flaw in life; he was a scary driver. We all got a thrill or two. He loved to fish and hunt, loved animals; his dogs were his babies. He loved to argue native politics with his sister-in-law. Larry was so proud of his sons, and special baby girl and her girls. His in-laws were more like his brothers and sisters. His father-in-law was like his own, his hero. You could always hear Larry coming by the jingle of his 50 keys he carried on his belt, and always had a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. Whenever Larry got the chance, he loved to shop, be it Peavey Mart, or Princess Auto. Larry could build anything out of everything. He could never sit too long for coffee, before you knew it he was up grinding, sawing, or whatever he thought about doing. Larry never burnt any bridges, he was a friend, to all. He was one in a million. No one will ever fill the hole that Larry left, when leaving us. Larry was our anchor, he kept us grounded. He always said, “Don’t sweat the little things.” Larry was predeceased by his parents, Helen & Isaac, his in-laws, Russell & Myrtle; brother, Russell. Larry is survived by; wife, Deb; son, Matt (Kristyn) son, Russell (Naomi) their children, Chris, Tiegen, and Ciara; daughter he never had, Katrina (Shane) their children, Joe-Lee and Becka; brothers, Dale (Deb) and family; Gordon (Cheryl) and family; brother Russell’s partner, Youda and family; brothers-in-law, Buck (Shirley) and family; Lyle (Char) and family; sisters-in-law, Pat (Merv) and family; Joeanne and family; Shirley (Leo) and family; Roseanne (Marv) and family.
