My first memory of Marion was as a child when she and Monty made their annual trek to their cabin on Lac La Ronge. When out for a Sunday ride on the lake our family, on occasion would drop by their cabin for a quick visit.Her father, Dr Polec and my dad always had very interesting conversations. Many years later I was to meet Marion many times again at the Strankays. In spite of her physical struggles Marion always had an optimistic view of life. And when I think of her I will always remember her helpfulness while volunteering at the children's festival. May you rest in peace Marion.
