I am deeply saddened to hear the news of Gordon’s passing. Him and I had a special little friendship. Early on when I moved back home to Foam Lake and I had started cutting hair at what once was Sheila’s hair fashions, he would come in and sit in Shae Rokochy’s chair, but him and I always made jokes with each other. We just had To tease one another and it made our day that we could bug each other for just a few short minutes. I soon grew attached to Gordon and his humour. He then took a special role where I called him Uncle Gordon. He thought that was just the best thing ever. He was always fond to hear my stories about having horses and from time to time I would bring my Horse Bandit to town just to have Uncle Gordon smell him and pet him and give some love and affection as he missed having horses in his life. He would tell me how he use to drive horses some and you could
Tell it just brought him so much joy to see Bandit and it brought me just as much joy to see him so happy for a few minutes when he wasn’t feeling his best but he made his best effort to come out and give a few pets to Bandit so he wouldn’t miss out on seeing him. He would always message me on Facebook asking how his Bandit horse is or would love my videos of the horses I would post. I will always cherish those moments with him he was a very special man to me. Not often in life do we meet people who have some kind of impact on our lives, but Gordon was just like an Uncle to me and I am forever greatful that I got to share the moments I had with him in my life. Very saddened for your loss Lucille. He loved you so much he will be missed dearly. He was such a wonderful man 💕
