I was very saddened to hear of Bruce's passing. I was fortunate to meet and work with Bruce in Melville in the mid 70s. First impressions were a shy and modest man. My good fortune was seeing Bruce away from work at the "cabin". To say Bruce could play the piano is understating what he did to that keyboard. Watching and listening to him was amazing. He lite up, and if you complimented him on his ability, the big smile came out and a bright red face, humble Bruce. I witnessed the cabin basement during construction and when he told me how he was doing it I just stood there. Words escaped me and I looked at him, shaking my head in wonder, and there was that big smile and red face. A kinder, softer, caring man would be hard to find in today's world. Condolences to Bruce's family, the world was better with his living in it and with his passing a hole will exist.
